Judit Nador - Rooster

A rooster reimagined as pure geometry: Judit Nádor's design abstracts the bird into clean architectural forms. An open rectangular body pierced by a square cut-out, a tall triangular tail rising as a hollow loop, and a blocky  head with a spiralled eye and stepped comb. The result is playful and unmistakably modernist.

The interplay of solid form and open negative space gives the Zsolnay Rooster genuine presence from every angle, while the iridescent green Eosin glaze reflects gold and green across the glossy surface and shifts as the light moves.

Its bold, graphic silhouette makes Rooster a natural fit for contemporary and mid-century interiors. Designed by contemporary Zsolnay artist Judit Nádor, it brings the manufactory's iconic Eosin glaze into a striking modern language.
