Judit Nador - Kakadu

The Kakadu distills the form of a cockatoo into a single sculptural gesture - a clean, contemporary silhouette that captures the bird's crested profile without a wasted line. Designed by Judit Nádor for Zsolnay, it brings the manufactory's celebrated craftsmanship into a distinctly modern language.

At 21cm tall, Nador's Kakadu is compact enough to sit on a shelf, desk, or gallery ledge, yet confident enough to hold its own as a stand-alone accent. Its modernist, abstract styling makes it as at home in a minimalist contemporary interior as it is among a collection of Zsolnay pieces — a bridge between the brand's 170-year heritage and current design.

Like every Zsolnay piece, Kakadu is handcrafted in Pécs, Hungary.
