Judit Nador - Dainty Horse

Dainty Horse has the charm of a Hungarian folk-art talisman rendered in fine porcelain. Its surface is covered in a dimpled, honeycomb-like relief, offset by a smooth decorative saddle across the back - details that give the piece real depth.

The finish is where Zsolnay's mastery shows. A rich iridescent green Eosin glaze catches the light across the textured surface, so the horse seems to glow and change as you move around it. Designed by contemporary Zsolnay artist Judit Nádor, it brings the manufactory's celebrated glaze into a warm, characterful modern form.
